The charger delivers up to 4A, which tops the battery back up quickly between rides rather than trickling it slowly. That makes it easy to grab a partial charge in the time you're stopped at home or work. It's the same fast-charge rate Auren uses for the EV5 and EV4.
The charger has protection built in that stops charging once the battery is full, so it's safe to leave connected without harming the battery. That protects battery health and life over the long term. It's one less thing to think about on a daily charge.
A spare charger means you can keep one wherever you charge — home, work, the car — instead of carrying a single charger around. It also doubles as a ready replacement if your original is lost or damaged. Either way, the bike is always ready to charge.
For the Auren EV5 and EV4 only.
Don’t use it with other eBikes or battery systems — the wrong charger can damage a battery. Only use this charger with the EV5 or EV4.
Tools needed: none — it's plug and play.
Plug the charger into a standard wall socket.
Connect the charger lead to the bike's charge port (or the battery's charge port if you've removed the battery).
The indicator shows charging is underway — leave it until it shows a full charge.
Disconnect when done. The built-in protection stops overcharging if you leave it connected past full.
