Accessory mounting points

The bar carries dedicated mounting points beyond the usual stem-cap and bar-top spots, meant for lights, a GPS computer, a bento box, or a bag — reducing how much needs to be taped, zip-tied, or improvised onto the bar for a loaded gravel or bikepacking setup.

Rear loop

A looped section at the rear of the bar adds another stable mounting and hand position option, useful for riders running extra accessories or wanting an additional grip point on long days.

Sizing

Width is measured at the hoods (the widest useful measurement for hand position and control), so match it to your existing bar width or your fit measurements rather than guessing — Auren can advise if you're unsure.

Stem

Standard 31.8mm clamp diameter — compatible with almost any modern road, gravel, or adventure stem.

Sizing

Choose from 41cm, 44cm, 47cm, 50cm, or 53cm width to match your current bar or fit measurements.

Brakes / shifters

Standard drop-bar lever compatibility (mechanical or electronic) — not a bar-specific consideration, matches your existing groupset choice.

Tools needed: Allen keys, torque wrench, fresh bar tape.

1

Remove your existing bar. Strip tape, cables/hoses (or disconnect electronic shifters), and unbolt the old bar from the stem.

2

Fit the new bar. Centre the Kitchen Sink bar in the stem clamp and torque the stem bolts evenly to spec.

3

Refit levers and cables. Position brake/shift levers for your hand size and reach, then re-run or reconnect cables/hoses as needed.

4

Mount your accessories. Use the bar's dedicated mounting points for lights, a computer, a bento box, or a bag as needed.

5

Wrap the bar. Rewrap with fresh bar tape, finishing at the loop and mounting points so they stay accessible.

Redshift Sports is a US component brand founded in 2013 in Philadelphia, growing out of a successful Kickstarter campaign for its original Switch Aero System. The company is run by engineers who are also serious cyclists, and its products are built around solving specific, real rider problems rather than chasing trends. Its best-known line is the ShockStop suspension stem and seatpost, which use interchangeable elastomers to smooth out vibration and impact on rough terrain without adding a heavy, complex suspension system. The range has grown to include ergonomic handlebar systems, clip-on aero bars, and the Arclight pedal-and-light system for visibility. On a gravel or adventure build, Redshift components are a common addition for riders wanting more comfort and control over long, rough days in the saddle without moving to a fully suspended bike.

Auren designs and builds in Melbourne. One workshop, one builder, frames made by the person you can actually reach.

Every Auren titanium bike comes out of a simple idea. Founder and engineer Will Young wanted to build custom titanium the way it should be done: a frame shaped around the rider, not picked from a range. Your geometry, your parts, your bike, designed with you from the first conversation to the final build.

Building direct means there's no dealer between you and us. When you're planning a build, talking through your fit, or need something sorted years down the track, you talk to Will, the person who made the bike. Every Auren titanium is built to last decades and backed by real support that doesn't disappear after delivery.

That's reflected in our reviews: five stars across Google and Trustpilot.
