Have a question before you buy?
Enough suspension travel to smooth out rough, corrugated, and technical terrain on a gravel or adventure build, without the weight and complexity of a full mountain bike fork. It's the sweet spot for riders who want real comfort and control on rough surfaces but aren't riding true singletrack.
The wider Boost spacing improves front wheel stiffness and lateral rigidity over older 15x100mm standards, translating into more precise, confident steering on rough or high-speed terrain. Confirm your frame is built for Boost spacing before ordering — it isn't interchangeable with 15x100mm.
Boost 15x110mm thru-axle spacing, tapered steerer — check your frame is built for Boost, not the older 15x100mm standard.
44mm offset — confirm this matches your frame’s designed offset; the wrong offset changes the bike’s handling.
Built for 29″ wheels only.
Disc brake only (post mount).
Serviced through SRAM’s RockShox Service Direct programme in Australia — Auren can advise on the local path.
Tools needed: torque wrench, headset press (if fitting to a new frame), star nut/compression plug tool. Fork fitting is a specialist job — have it fitted by Auren or a qualified mechanic.
Confirm compatibility. Check your frame's axle standard (Boost 15x110mm), steerer type (tapered), and designed offset (44mm) before ordering — a mismatch means the fork won't fit or won't handle correctly.
Fit the headset and steerer. Press the correct headset into the frame and cut the steerer to length for your stack height — this step is not reversible, get it right or have a shop do it.
Install the fork. Slide the steerer through the head tube, fit the stem and spacers, and torque the headset and stem bolts to the fork manufacturer's spec.
Fit the front wheel. Secure the wheel with the Boost 15x110mm thru-axle and torque to spec.
Set your sag and pressure. Set air pressure for your rider weight per RockShox's sag chart (typically printed on the fork leg) before your first ride, and check it periodically.
RockShox was founded in 1989 in North Carolina by Paul Turner and Steve Simons, and released the RS-1 the same year — widely credited as the fork that kicked off modern mountain bike suspension. RockShox has been part of SRAM since 2002. Its range now spans cross-country to downhill forks, rear shocks, and the Reverb dropper post line, plus gravel-specific XPLR suspension.
Auren designs and builds in Melbourne. One workshop, one builder, frames made by the person you can actually reach.
Every Auren titanium bike comes out of a simple idea. Founder and engineer Will Young wanted to build custom titanium the way it should be done: a frame shaped around the rider, not picked from a range. Your geometry, your parts, your bike, designed with you from the first conversation to the final build.
Building direct means there's no dealer between you and us. When you're planning a build, talking through your fit, or need something sorted years down the track, you talk to Will, the person who made the bike. Every Auren titanium is built to last decades and backed by real support that doesn't disappear after delivery.
That's reflected in our reviews: five stars across Google and Trustpilot.
