Titanium has an unparalleled blend of durability, comfort and performance. It absorbs road and trail vibration naturally, doesn't rust, is built to last decades, and is ideal for custom builds. Every Auren frame is custom-built around you. Book a call to chat with Will about your dream bike.
A 30-minute call to map out the build: how you ride, what you want the frame to do, and whether it's a frameset only or a full bike. You leave with a pre-quote and a working spec.
We understand your geometry from either an Auren bike fit, a report from another fitter, your current bike, or your body measurements, to tailor the frame to you.
Your frame gets built to the geometry, with the tube selection, mount layout, and routing chosen for your build. If you're going full bike, parts are sourced in parallel.
Frame-only orders are inspected, finished, and shipped. Full builds get assembled by Will, tested, and delivered. Four months on, it's yours.
No obligation, just a convo about what you'd want in a custom titanium frame.
Whatever your style of ride, if you want a frame, frameset or bike, we can customise a build for you. Explore customisation options, build galleries, and reviews of different builds.

Long-haul geometry, mounts wherever you need them, and the clearance to go wherever the track ends.

Titanium hits a balance no other material does: strong but light, naturally compliant, doesn't rust, and outlasts every other frame material. For long days and long ownership, it wins on every dimension except outright weight.
Titanium has a natural compliance most metals don't. It absorbs road and trail buzz without engineering tricks like shaped tubes or flexible seatposts. The frame takes the edge off, so you don't.
Depends on what you ride. Carbon is lighter, and if you only ride smooth tarmac and chase weight, carbon's probably the call. If you ride mixed surfaces, value durability and feel, and want a frame that lasts thirty years instead of five, titanium wins. Carbon also can't be welded to your geometry, every frame shape needs an expensive mould, which is why nearly all custom builders work in metal.
Steel and titanium have a similar ride feel, both have natural compliance, but titanium does it at roughly two-thirds the weight and doesn't rust. A good steel frame is a wonderful thing. A titanium frame is the same thing, lighter and built to outlast you.
3Al-2.5V, the industry standard for high-quality bicycle frames, with the right balance of strength, weldability, and ride feel. Specific tube selection (butted, double-butted, custom wall thicknesses) is tuned to your weight, geometry, and the kind of riding the bike's built for.
Typically 1.5 to 2 kg, depending on size and tubing spec. We don't go thinner than that, the few hundred grams you'd save aren't worth the ride quality you'd lose.
No. Titanium doesn't corrode under any riding conditions, salt air, rain, sweat, mud, with or without a finish. It's why titanium has been the go-to material for offshore, aerospace, and adventure cycling.
Decades. We engineer ours specifically around the industry's common failure points, headsets, bottom brackets, dropouts, and back the frame with a lifetime warranty. A well-built titanium frame outlives the parts hanging off it, often by a few drivetrains.
Yes. We offer fully hidden, semi-hidden, and external routing, whatever balance of looks and serviceability you want. We'll talk through the trade-offs on the consultation call.
Yes. Most customers go with the raw brushed finish, it's part of what titanium is famous for, but if you want paint, anodising, or a specific colourway, bring it to the consultation and we'll work out something distinctive.
Anything you need. The frame is designed around your build, so clearance is dialled in for the wheel and tyre size you're actually running, with the right margin for the kind of riding you do. From 28c road slicks to 2.4" mountain tyres.
T47 by default, the most reliable, serviceable BB standard out there, with the stiffness of a press-fit and the durability of a threaded BB. We'll spec something different if your drivetrain or build calls for it.
Yes. Bottle mounts, rack mounts, fender mounts, top tube bag mounts, fork-blade cargo cage mounts, anything you need, welded in at the build stage. Tell us how you load the bike and we design the mounts around it.
Yes. We're Australia's #1 Pinion bike builder. Pinion in particular has to be designed into the frame from the start, it changes the geometry around the BB, so it's worth flagging early on the consultation call.
Either. You can buy the frame on its own and build it up yourself (or with your local shop), or have us spec and assemble the complete bike around it. Frame-only buyers tend to be experienced cyclists with strong opinions about their parts kit. Either path starts with the same consultation call.
Four to five months from first call to delivery. About a third of that is the geometry work and frame fabrication, the rest is finishing, shipping, and, if you're going full build, parts sourcing and assembly. We keep you updated through every stage.
Roughly half what a comparable locally-welded custom frame costs, and broadly in line with off-the-shelf titanium that doesn't customise at all. Final pricing depends on your spec, we'll give you a pre-quote on the first call.
A current professional bike fit is the cleanest way to get your geometry exactly right. If you don't have one, we can derive the geometry from your current bike, measurements, photos, and a conversation about what works and what doesn't. Either path gets you there.
Yes, and a frame swap is a smart way to upgrade. We build you a custom titanium frame to your fit, then transfer your existing components across. When you sell your old frame, the net cost is often less than you'd think. Get in touch and we'll walk through it.
We back every Auren titanium frame with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects and structural failure. Full detail on what's in and out sits on the warranty page, happy to walk you through it on the consultation call.
