Have a question before you buy?
Instead of one blade running from crown to dropout, this fork uses two struts on each side. That triangulated bracing resists twist and flex under hard braking and load far better than a single-blade rigid fork, which matters most on rough, technical trail terrain where a flexy fork translates straight into poor tracking and brake judder.
The same aerospace-grade alloy Auren builds its frames from. It doesn't rust, doesn't need paint, and takes the edge off trail chatter more than aluminium or steel, so it rides smoother without the upkeep a painted finish demands.
Because every fork is made to order, wheel size, axle-to-crown length, steerer type, and brake mount are all confirmed against your specific frame and intended use before it's built. That's how one truss-style platform ends up fitting 29", 700c, and 27.5" hardtails, rigid builds, and bikepacking rigs with different geometry — axle-to-crown runs 430–500mm depending on the wheel size and requirements you need. If you're unsure whether your frame or use case fits, get in touch with Will and he'll confirm before the build starts.
Triple-boss mounts on each leg mean you can run a front rack, cargo cages, or bikepacking straps directly off the fork legs, useful for anyone using a rigid MTB build for overnight or multi-day riding, not just cross-country laps.
Not compatible with rim brakes. This is a made-to-order fork — if what you need doesn’t fit neatly into this table, or you’re not sure it matches your build, just reach out to Will and he’ll confirm what’s possible before the build starts.
Tools needed: 5mm & 6mm hex keys, torque wrench, headset press (if fitting a new headset), grease.
Confirm your steerer length matches your frame and headset stack before fitting. Trimming titanium needs a fine-tooth hacksaw or pipe cutter — have a shop do it if you're not confident.
Press your headset's crown race onto the fork's crown race seat, greased.
Slide the fork through the frame's head tube and installed headset cups.
Fit the stem and spacers, then the top cap, and snug the compression bolt until headset play is gone. Don't over-tighten.
Torque the stem bolts to the stem maker's spec (usually 4-6Nm) in a crossing pattern.
Fit the thru-axle and torque to the axle maker's spec (usually 12-15Nm).
Fit the front brake caliper to the post mounts, spin the wheel, and adjust for a rub-free, centred rotor before torquing the caliper bolts.
If fitting a rack or cargo cages, use the triple-boss mounts on each leg with the correct bolt length and a drop of thread-locker.
Auren designs and builds in Melbourne. One workshop, one builder, frames made by the person you can actually reach.
Every Auren titanium bike comes out of a simple idea. Founder and engineer Will Young wanted to build custom titanium the way it should be done: a frame shaped around the rider, not picked from a range. Your geometry, your parts, your bike, designed with you from the first conversation to the final build.
Building direct means there's no dealer between you and us. When you're planning a build, talking through your fit, or need something sorted years down the track, you talk to Will, the person who made the bike. Every Auren titanium is built to last decades and backed by real support that doesn't disappear after delivery.
That's reflected in our reviews: five stars across Google and Trustpilot.
