Full Mount / UDH direct-mount

This derailleur bolts straight to a SRAM UDH-equipped frame instead of using a separate, replaceable derailleur hanger. SRAM designed the interface to be stronger and less prone to bending in a crash than a traditional hanger, but it means fit is frame-dependent — check your frame supports UDH/Full Mount before ordering.

Wireless SRAM AXS shifting

Shifting is fully electronic and cable-free, pairing directly with an AXS shifter or paddle over a secure wireless connection. Setup, limits, and trim are handled through the SRAM AXS smartphone app, and the same app syncs settings across other AXS components if you're running them elsewhere on the bike.

Max 46T cog / XPLR gearing

Rated to run cassettes up to a 46T max cog as part of SRAM's 13-speed XPLR gravel ecosystem. That's wide enough range to drop the front derailleur on loaded gravel or adventure riding, simplifying the drivetrain to one chainring.

NeedsWhat to check

Tools needed: T25 Torx wrench, torque wrench, SRAM AXS app (smartphone)

1

Confirm your frame has a SRAM UDH / Full Mount interface — this derailleur bolts directly to it, not a separate hanger.

2

Bolt the derailleur to the frame's UDH mount with a T25 Torx wrench, torquing to SRAM's spec.

3

Fit an AXS battery (sold separately) to the derailleur.

4

Install a compatible SRAM XPLR 13-speed cassette and Flattop chain, sized for your gearing.

5

Pair the derailleur to your AXS shifter or paddle through the SRAM AXS app, then run the auto-setup/limit adjustment.

6

Shift through the full range before riding to confirm smooth shifting and chain retention under load.

SRAM was founded in Chicago in 1987 and built its reputation on the original Grip Shift twist shifter, a genuinely new way to change gears that challenged Shimano's dominance of the drivetrain market. The company has since grown into one of the two major global groupset brands, and now also owns RockShox, Zipp, Truvativ, and several other component brands under one roof. SRAM was first to bring a dedicated 1x (single chainring) drivetrain to market, a format that has become close to standard on modern gravel and mountain bikes for its simplicity and reliability. Its current lineup spans mechanical and wireless AXS electronic groupsets across road, gravel, and mountain disciplines, alongside brakes, cranksets, and cassettes. On a gravel or adventure titanium build, SRAM is a common alternative to Shimano for riders who prefer its shift feel, want a wireless AXS setup, or are drawn to its 1x-first approach to gravel drivetrains.

Auren designs and builds in Melbourne. One workshop, one builder, frames made by the person you can actually reach.

Every Auren titanium bike comes out of a simple idea. Founder and engineer Will Young wanted to build custom titanium the way it should be done: a frame shaped around the rider, not picked from a range. Your geometry, your parts, your bike, designed with you from the first conversation to the final build.

Building direct means there's no dealer between you and us. When you're planning a build, talking through your fit, or need something sorted years down the track, you talk to Will, the person who made the bike. Every Auren titanium is built to last decades and backed by real support that doesn't disappear after delivery.

That's reflected in our reviews: five stars across Google and Trustpilot.
