A dedicated battery and Bluetooth Low Energy connection drive push-button shifting through the trigger shifter — quicker and more effortless than the mechanical twist-shift version, at the cost of needing to charge it. Rated for more than 20,000 shifts or roughly 100 riding hours per charge, which covers most riders for weeks between charges.
The same 12-gear, 600% total range as the mechanical version, with a consistent 24.3% step between each gear — a genuinely low climbing gear and a genuinely fast top gear, evenly spaced the whole way through.
