Full Mount / UDH direct-mount

The rear derailleur bolts straight to a SRAM UDH-equipped frame instead of a separate, replaceable derailleur hanger — SRAM's Transmission design, built to be sturdier and less prone to bending in a crash. Confirm your frame supports UDH/Full Mount before ordering.

10-52T Eagle range

A single 32T chainring paired with a 10-52T cassette gives a very wide gear range without a front derailleur, suiting technical or steep 1x mountain and adventure riding where simplicity and chain retention matter as much as gear range.

DUB Wide crank, 2 guards

The DUB Wide spindle standard widens the chainline to suit modern wide-hub, boost-spaced frames, and the two bash guards protect the direct-mount chainring from rock strikes on technical terrain.

Frame:

SRAM UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger) / Full Mount interface required — this derailleur bolts directly to it, not a separate hanger.
1x-specific — no front derailleur mount needed or used.

Crank / bottom bracket:

DUB Wide spindle — needs a DUB-compatible bottom bracket in your frame’s shell standard (confirm with Auren for your specific frame).
Choose 165mm or 170mm crank length at purchase.

Cassette / freehub:

XS-1275 cassette needs a SRAM XD driver body on your rear hub/wheel — not compatible with Shimano HG or Micro Spline freehubs without a different cassette.

Controller:

This bundle does not include an AXS Pod/controller (shifter) — check with Auren on the right controller to complete your setup.

Tools needed: full groupset installation is a specialist mechanical build — this isn't a bolt-on upgrade to an existing bike. Auren handles this as part of a titanium build.

1

Confirm compatibility. Check your frame has a UDH/Full Mount interface, a DUB-compatible bottom bracket shell, and an XD driver on your rear hub before ordering.

2

Fit the bottom bracket and crank. Install a DUB-compatible bottom bracket, then fit the crank and direct-mount 32T chainring with its bash guards.

3

Fit the derailleur. Bolt the Full Mount rear derailleur directly to the frame's UDH interface.

4

Fit the cassette and chain. Install the XS-1275 cassette onto your XD driver, then fit and size the 126L chain to your setup.

5

Pair and set up. Pair the derailleur to your AXS controller through the SRAM AXS app and run the auto-setup/limit adjustment.

6

Test shift under load. Ride and shift through the full range before relying on it, checking chain retention on rough terrain.

SRAM was founded in Chicago in 1987 and built its reputation on the original Grip Shift twist shifter, a genuinely new way to change gears that challenged Shimano's dominance of the drivetrain market. The company has since grown into one of the two major global groupset brands, and now also owns RockShox, Zipp, Truvativ, and several other component brands under one roof. SRAM was first to bring a dedicated 1x (single chainring) drivetrain to market, a format that has become close to standard on modern gravel and mountain bikes for its simplicity and reliability. Its current lineup spans mechanical and wireless AXS electronic groupsets across road, gravel, and mountain disciplines, alongside brakes, cranksets, and cassettes. On a gravel or adventure titanium build, SRAM is a common alternative to Shimano for riders who prefer its shift feel, want a wireless AXS setup, or are drawn to its 1x-first approach to gravel drivetrains.

Auren designs and builds in Melbourne. One workshop, one builder, frames made by the person you can actually reach.

Every Auren titanium bike comes out of a simple idea. Founder and engineer Will Young wanted to build custom titanium the way it should be done: a frame shaped around the rider, not picked from a range. Your geometry, your parts, your bike, designed with you from the first conversation to the final build.

Building direct means there's no dealer between you and us. When you're planning a build, talking through your fit, or need something sorted years down the track, you talk to Will, the person who made the bike. Every Auren titanium is built to last decades and backed by real support that doesn't disappear after delivery.

That's reflected in our reviews: five stars across Google and Trustpilot.
