Both grips use shaped padding designed to spread hand pressure more evenly across the palm, targeting the hot spots that lead to hand pain, numbness, and tingling on long rides — a common problem on drop bars where riders spend hours in one or two hand positions.
A rubber compound chosen specifically to filter road buzz and vibration, adding real comfort on rough or unsealed roads without changing your bar's shape or reach.

The Top Grip fits underneath your bar tape — you’ll likely need a fresh roll of tape to rewrap after fitting.
The Drop Grip fits over the end of the bar in the drop position.
Tools needed: fresh handlebar tape (for the Top Grip), scissors, electrical tape or bar plugs to finish. Straightforward for an experienced home mechanic, or have Auren fit it as part of your build.
Remove existing bar tape. Strip your current tape back to the bare bar on the tops.
Fit the Top Grip. Position it on the tops where you rest your hands, then rewrap with fresh bar tape over the top of it.
Fit the Drop Grip. Slide it over the end of the bar in the drop position, checking it doesn't interfere with brake lever reach.
Check hand positions. Sit on the bike and check both grips land where you actually rest your hands — adjust position before finishing off the tape ends.
Finish the tape. Secure the tape ends with electrical tape or bar plugs as normal.
